Groove Music 3-month free code never arrived during one month introductory subscription

The deal offered was that you signed up with credit card for a free month of Groove Music and during that period you would receive a code for an additional three free months for a total of four months.

I did my part and signed up for the single free month. I waited and waited and never received a code. And it's not as though I wasn't receiving emails from Microsoft regarding Groove Music. I got three just to tell me my subscription would renew. Delightful,
huh?

The best part is the asinine customer service. Not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR transfers later and still nobody knows what's going on. It's a nasty combination of gross incompetence and a failure on Microsoft's part to properly empower their support
team. In fact, this posting is a result of a customer service rep emailing me to follow up and specifically asking me, with link, to write about the issue here. Weird. Oh, and the problem still isn't even close to being solved.

Hi, one month ago there was promotion that if I sign up for Groove music subscription I will receive code for three months of Groove music for free. One month and one day passed since I sign up for subscription and still no email with 3 months code. How
long will it take?

Groove Music haven't got my 3 month free code

I signed up for the groove music free trial through Xbox live on the Xbox one and it said i would get 3 months free but when i signed up it only gave me one month free and in my email i haven't got any code for the 3 month code. Then is for the Groove music
trail and i signed up during the black Friday event that was going on

I signed up on August 14th 2016 for groove music pass during the 1 month +3 months free and did not receive my code for my extra 3 months free. Could I still get it?

I responded to an email from Microsoft on 7/13/2016, signed up for a 30 day Groove Music Pass subscription on the promise by Microsoft for a 90 day Groove Music Pass access. A promo code has never been received. I was passed from one chat support representative
to another to another to another and then after spending 30 minutes was sent here. Maybe this will get resolved soon.

Their email stated "Rev up your summer soundtrack with 3 free months (90 days) of music.* Just sign up for Groove Music Pass, and after your first paid month ($9.99), we'll email you a promo code for your bonus months (as always, you can cancel anytime).
But hurry - this deal won't last forever."

Here's the notification I got from Outlook.

"From now to August 17th, get up to 4 months of music for free when you sign up for a Music Pass.* If your're brand new to Groove, enjoy your free month-long trial. During the first 30 days, we'll email you a code for 3 more months - 90 days - of music,

Also states on the website that you need to finish a one month paid subscription for groove. You can see that info from the link below.
