Green screen when trying to load up games

This might be a software issue. I would suggest you first to factory reset your console:

Press the Xbox button > Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps. The "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.

See if the issue persists and please let me know.

Try a hard reset of the console. If that dont work, let me know. When the console starts back up, make sure it has the green load screen

During normal start up it will go to the green xbox screen with loading dots on the bottom then it will display a black screen. If the black screen is what your talking about give it a minute for the xbox logo to pop up. The console is loading the dashboard
when you see that screen.

Thank you, but this is not the issue. It loads and freezes here and there while loading on green xbox one start up screen and continues to stay on the screen longer than normal. When it finally goes to the next screen which should be home screen it shows
nothing as if its still trying to load it.. Now there was one time where it did show the boxes for each game in the home screen but would only be the boxes surround what normally would have pictures of the games to click on or other apps. Noticed cod still
updating but nothing would happen when i clicked on queue.

im having the exact same problem :/ tried clearing the cache, nothing changed. when a public game is trying to load, there isn't a picture of the map the screen is just green.
