Green screen issue after playing Halo Infinite

So some background: I get this green screen only after playing halo and trying to switch to another game or app. I’ve played other games/apps with zero issues but for some reason, if I were to play halo and try to turn it off the monitor turns green instead of powering off as it does with other games and apps. Actual gameplay works fine it's just whenever I go home or launch another app after playing Halo.

I've tried unplugging the HDMI cable and power cycling the series x but the only thing that fixes it temporarily is if I disconnect the power cable for the monitor

Hi Nemesis1011, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly uncheck auto HDR10 then try if there will be an improvement.

Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options. Under the Advanced column, choose Video modes and uncheck the option to Allow HDR10.

After making the changes perform powercycle before re-launching the game. .

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try and report back if it worked!

Update: After following the instructions it's hasn't happened again. Granted it's been less than 24 hours but I think that change in setting did the trick!

I am having a similar issue, but the problem is only on Halo Infinite from my testing.

Your Halo Infinite glitchy display does look similar to mine- but pink instead of green

It is interesting that you say this only happens after a while, whereas for me the problems are immediate.

Out of curiosity, have you tried Gears 5? Having to failing games is what convinced me it was hardware, not the game.
