green flickers when going to dashboard.xbox series x

I found people having these problems, but I can't link the URLs here because they don't really have any fix for it (instead of just disabling Dolby Vision or HDR) and are not from Microsoft community or official websites.

It's not a "problem" with your console but it is indeed a bug.

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do except disable Dolby Vision, change your HDMI cable/port or maybe contact your TV manufacturer. If you could test it on another TV which also supports Dolby Vision it would be great, but it's not really feasable.

On your console display settings, is HDR and Dolby Vision enabled?

Most people that get flickers on the screen (both playing or only on the dashboard) with Dolby Vision on is because both HDR and Dolby Vision are enabled at the same time.

Just try to turn HDR off and see if it solves your problem. If it does, unfortunately we will not be able to do much about it. It's a bug reported by some people and the only option would be use HDR or Dolby Vision, not both at the same time

Does this happen only on dashboard When minimizing/leaving the game? When you're actually playing the game it doesn't happen?

Did anyone else have such probelms? I reviewed many forums and did not find anywhere, there were requests with green flickering but of a different type. I tried turning off hdr, and leaving only dolby vision. anyway, when you exit for a second, green bars appear.so I will play hdr. I hope this is not a problem with the console itself. thanks for the help

Would you please try physically resetting your display options?

If there's a disc in the console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console. Unplug all cables from it, wait for 5 minutes and plug again.

Then, press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To change this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown.

See if this display reset can improve things for you and let me know.
