    Graphics settings in Fortnite and reduction of delays


    Introducing graphics settings in Fortnite to reduce the advantage of players on computers. Reducing the delay and lag and fps drops would please all players playing Fortnite, not only those who play competitive modes, but also those who play casual games.

    Who said MS don't know what to do with hololens and not be used for gaming? ;)

    That was the hud discussion which I can see being implemented. That can be transparent much like it is already being used by the military in jets, etc but adding actual game graphics (debris, walls, etc) you go back to it being a significant graphics reduction
    and I don't the upside to that.

    This isn't going to be cheap so I don't see gamers spending the money to have a floating hud that we already have on the screen.

    Unless they decide to tether us to the One this thing just doesn't have the horsepower to render the graphics to make it appealing. Even if they did something like a lower resolution car interior for Forza you'd still need a controller because I don't see
    the input delay being acceptable for any twitch game.

    What graphics settings are you using? The RTX 3050, is still really an entry level GPU, you can't max out the graphics and expect high frame rates. If you want better performance make sure Ray Tracing - which is a new feature to Fortnite - is turned off.

    Try playing around with your T.V's noise reduction feature. I've noticed in the past on several of my own T.V's that if the noise reduction was set to high it would give me problems whilst gaming. Set it to low or off and see if that changes anything for
