    Hello,

    I have been having issues with micro-stuttering in my games. This issue is with all games not just 1 and I have tried a ton of things to fix it.

    I've replaced parts, updated drivers, re-installed windows, change settings, but nothing seems to get rid of the stutters.

    Recently I got a new Motherboard MSI MPG X570 Gaming and a Ryzen 5 5600X.

    I had issues with the game War Thunder before where the screen froze and an error occured mentioning: Graphics driver hung, texture detail was reduced.

    After this I could still play the game but with reduced graphics.

    this continued until it was at Texture Details: LOW

    After that it just micro-stuttered all the time.

    Since I got my new aforementioned parts installed, I have not had an error like this, but the stuttering persists.

    I tried another game and my pc had a Blue Screen Error with: “dxgmms2. sys”

    This had something to do with graphics drivers I understood.

    I used the Driver Verifier method and got a DMP file out of it.

    Perhaps someone is handy enough to know what to do from here?

    I am very desperate and I feel like my PC is cursed or something.

    Sorry, broke that up as it was turning into a wall of text!!

    If you are still having issues after the above, the next thing is hardware. If it was me, I'd start with RAM

    How many RAM sticks do you have and what frequency are they set at? It may be irrelevant but the 5000 Series CPUs (and their motherboards) have had their fair share of issues since release, although most of the issues were from ASUS boards.

    Try removing the RAM sticks and then reseating them again..sometimes they aren't fully secured.

    I would try running MemTest86

    It needs running overnight and basically stress tests your RAM. It doesn't always give off any errors and isn't faultless but is usually a good indicator if there's an issue with the RAM. If it comes up with errors, then remove a RAM stick and then try running your game and see what happens...if it's fine, then swap the sticks. If both MemTest86 and removing RAM sticks doesn't highlight anything, then the RAM is likely okay.

    I think the combination of what John suggested above and what I have suggested should keep you occupied for a while so try everything listed and then come back with any results and we will try and help further

    I have a Gigabyte RTX 2070 OC gaming 8GB

    I have done similar things like completely resetting my PC.

    That includes removing all drivers I assume.

    And my monitor is a Asus ROG PG278Q 2560x1440 pixels

    Edit: I had the latest driver installed and downloaded DDU and followed the instructions.

    it did not work unfortunately.

    Do you have any other suggestions perhaps? I'm going to try to switch my GPU with someone else's to see if it causes the same issues.
