Graphic glitches

I just got an Xbox one S and have been trying to play modern warfare 3 and haven’t been able to do to weird graphical glitches like if I click multiplayer it’ll load into the pregame and just show a white glitching screen I’ll go to load into a game and it’ll just crash on ufc 4 the skin of fighters will be all over the screen on Fortnite there will be random black squares on the screen and theses games tend to be a little laggy I’ve tried clearing system cache I’ve tried resetting the Xbox and even deleting the games 3 different times and still the same and idea

I'm sorry you have this problem, researching on the internet I was able to find that in the forum, the independent advisor Gerardo, recommends the following steps for a solution.

Please check if the problem is resolved as follows:

1. With the Xbox on, press the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off completely (keep your finger on the button even if the light has gone out before the 10 seconds are up, until the time is up). ).

2. Unplug the power cord from the console and wait 30 seconds.

3. Reconnect the power cable to your console and turn it on normally.

If you look on other non official forums it's a really common problem with a semi-simple fix. Basically one or several solder connections between chips and the main board are failing because of uneven thermal load and solder type over hundreds or thousands
of thermal cycles.

Basically what you already found out is true you can have it repaired, but they won't be able to guarantee anything and you have no more warranty. You might be able to temporarily fix it or could sell it to someone who fixes and sells them. After that I
would recommend a new Slim since it's a complete redesign that fixes major faults of the console.
