grandson bought same game three times by accident

My grandson accidently bought the new Tom Clancy game three times in one day. I have changed his account, so now he only can purchase things if he has money put in his account. He can't use my VISA on file anymore. Microsoft would not refund me for
the two games he really can't use, and he claims he never really ordered. I am wondering if there is any way he can send them on to a friend or something. It's crazy that Microsoft wont let us be refunded. I really don't know how this happened, but the
new Tom Clancy game ended up costing me $179.97, instead of $59.99. Help me!!!!!!!

If you have proof that he purchased the same game by accident three times then im pretty sure that Microsoft would refund you for the two extra games as they are duplicates and would not be used by him. I would just try contacting xbox support either by
email, phone or live chat and explain to them that the same game was purchased three times by mistake and that you only need one copy of the game, they should be able to process a refund for you. All the best and good luck with your refund request.

Your son shouldn't technically be able to buy the same game three times (unless he purchased three different editions of the same game, like for example "Tom Clancy's [GameName] Standard Editions", "Tom Clancy's [GameName] Digital Deluxe Edition" and "Tom
Clancy's [GameName] Gold Edition" or something like that.

Please ask your son to sign in to his Microsoft-Account Order History and check that he really was able to buy the exact same item three times.

From the Order page, you should also be able to try to refund the erratic purchases.

If that doesn't work, take note of the three order numbers, contact the official support, and tell them that these three order numbers are for one and the same game, and shouldn't be possible to be purchased three times on the same account.
