Got offered Xbox live gold with 40% off - couldn't take offer on dashboard despite it appearing there for several days.

Xbox live support couldn't solve the problem and recommended communication on here. Can you sort?

Issues with xbox live gold offer

I had the xbox live 40% off gold offer on my console, but it would not let me take the offer. Xbox live support got involved but could not rectify the problem, told me to get in touch to sort this out. Could a code be generated and this issue resolved for
me?

Live Gold renewal "40% off" add on dashboard...doesn't do anything?

I got Xbox Live Gold for 14.99 (which I presume is 40% off) a few days ago through the same thing.

Also, I don't have many issues with the forums.

no there is no way to reinstate an offer once it expires

You should've gotten it while it was up

If it's a billing issue you must work with shpport but if it is gone from your dashboard there is no way to reopen it

I couldnt purchase when it was at that price, it defaulted back to £39.99 in error. Was in touch with support but they couldnt help either.

Is there nothing that can be done?

Sometime I will see this too and notice that the system that show on your dashboard promotions are often delayed due to some sort of tech issue with your network or missing update this can cause a delayed or the system didn't refresh so promotions for xbox
live or even sales and special are expired but youre still seeing the old promotion often I find that refreshing the dashboard by using Dashboard refresh button Left Trigger Right Trigger and Y button will refresh your dashboard and seeing most current updates
another way to see if promotions are occurring is to check major nelson this way if you want to take advantage of an promotion xbox customer support can see it too

No, this is a 1 time 40% off promotion. Your auto renewal will renew at the then current price of a 3 month gold membership ($24.99, unless it increases/decreases between now and September).

If you wish to take advantage of another offer you'd need to take a look at your dashboard to see if you get any other offers like this, if not then there would be no way to get the offer to appear.
