Got my Microsoft account stolen

So on Monday, I got my microsoft account stolen after getting scammed. Everything has been changed, name, email, other security options, etc. And since the email was changed, I can't access the account to recover password or do anything else at all. It was previously linked to the email that is now linked to this account. All I have is the XBOX gamer tag that hasn't been changed. Can I ever hope to recover my account? I know this probably sounds like I haven't ever owned the account, since all I have is the publically accessible tag but all of security options have been changed, even the email it was linked to, so now I cannot access it in any way.
Thanks anyway, even if there is no cure for this.

Heya.
I contacted microsoft support and it has really been a great help. Have to wait a few days before the conclusion, but they said that the info I provided might have been enough to recover the account. I will also advise you to do the same and contact the support, if you have enough information about your stolen account so you can confirm your claim of it, it might be enough for them to take down the hacked account and transfer any data to your new one, according to them

I have the same issue, got a text on my phone with a link that I stupidly clicked and the next thing I know my Microsoft account is hacked. The hackers are Russian and it's happening to a lot of people atm.

The link you provided is useless, if you read the actual issue, the email is changed, everything is changed and we cannot access the account!

I no longer have access to my Microsoft, Xbox live or anything else connected to it. A

All games I have on Xbox are inaccessible. They even tried taking over my steam and origin accounts.

This needs to be taken seriously and dealt with ASAP, these hackers are gaining access by going through backdoors in the system.

I’m really sorry you’re still stuck with this. I understand how frustrating it is when the recovery info isn’t enough and the official links don’t work.

Since the recovery form didn’t help and the link I shared was broken, here’s what you can try this:

I get that it’s tough not to talk to real staff when this happens. Unfortunately, Microsoft mostly relies on these automated systems for account recovery to protect user security.
