Why is Xbox working with 343?

So 6 years of entirely free content for the Master Chief Collection ain't enough?
A free beta to Halo Infinite?

Halo 5 Game Crashes on Xbox Series S

I reset the console to factory defaults while keeping my games and apps. Before that, I redownloaded Halo 5. The Halo Infinite Beta does not work either but Halo: the MCC does work.

    Beta Preview Testing

ATTENTION: You all do not want to be part of the beta testing. I got picked and it is absolute crap. You aren't able to play games, accept or send invites to games or join or send invites to friends if they do not have the preview for the update. You
are literally stuck in no man's land playing by yourself

There is no way to unistall it either.
