Got chirped, swore, then get suspended for a week?

Someone messaged me chirping, saying ive got no skill and that the way im playing is garbage, i responded with i[Mod Removed – Profanity]
your whole[Mod Removed – Profanity] team theres gotta be some skill involved. Then he reports me cause hes mad and i get suspended like some kind of child. Im a grown man and if someone messages you chirping how
can you be suspended from a paid service for swearing.. switched from ps4 to xbox cause some buddies play and it has turned out to be
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. Is swearing seriously bad enough to get a week suspension ? This is a joke

my account got banned because i swore at some one. someone swore at me i reported it. they are not banned. fair? i think not

 

Xbox One won't stop chirping!! (Video)

My Xbox One also won't stop chirping! I've followed the suggestions and it still continues to chirp, it is very annoying.

I am considering requesting a repair and try to get it fixed that way, has anyone fixed the chirping issue?

If you were suspended for longer than a day you can also submit a case review from the same website.

Submitting a Case Review is easy, and can be accomplished in several steps:

• Sign in
  to enforcement.xbox.com with the account that received the enforcement action and select the large box with an
  orange hammer icon, or visit your
  Enforcement History.
• Find the enforcement action that you wish to have reviewed, and select
  Apply for Review.
• Read the Case Review Terms of Use and agree by clicking the checkbox and selecting
  Agree.
• If you are already eligible for a Case Review, select the
  green arrow icon. If you are not yet eligible, you will be presented with
  a short questionnaire. These questions help gauge your understanding of the Code of Conduct and associated policies. Upon successful completion of the questionnaire, select the
  green arrow icon.
• Provide any details (up to 500 characters) regarding the enforcement action that may help XBLPET conduct a more complete investigation. This may include context around the activity
  or content that received enforcement, information about your game activity, or any other facts that you believe are worth noting. When complete, select
  Submit.

My suggestion for the future would be to read the Code of Conduct as the same rules apply to other online services as well

unfortunately yes swearing is considered a communication bannable offense. the com ban should be about 24 hours and then you should be free and clear to resume as normal. ide advise in future that should any person message you challenging your skill simply
ignore message and continue . sadly there are toxic people who purposely message you to get the exact response you gave so they can get you com banned , be the better person and they will leave you alone

Thank you for your response! I do understand your frustration, but as posted in the "Case Review status" on the enforcement site it says:

"XBLPET welcomes all Case Review inquiries. However, abusive or belligerent behavior will not be tolerated. When submitting a case for review or replying to a request for additional information, do not abuse or threaten Microsoft employees or post profane,
bigoted, or otherwise provocative content. As with all Xbox Live activities, the guidelines outlined within the Code of Conduct still apply.

Disregard for these rules may result in the closure of your Case Review. Especially egregious violations may result in additional Xbox Live enforcement action."

In the case that the questions where answered not following with the Code of Conduct,
then they may add additional time for not regarding the rules (Or they will also put the case on hold, and you will have to wait 24 hours to retake another "Case Review")

If you are grown up like you say then you need to report and block instead of get into a childish fights

 

Its not a fight .. its a response to someone trying to put me down about my skill level..

 

Honestly, even with the case review, your suspension is likely to be upheld since you do admit you were swearing.

The questionnaire is meant as a way to test your knowledge of the code of conduct. If you're failing then that means you need to review it so you know what you can and cannot do on Live.

 

Then act as an adult human being and revel in your ability to pwn all the n00bs with your mad skillz without having to resort to petty profanity.

You know the saying how sticks and stones may hurt bones but words will never hurt me/you?

Act like a grown up, and ignore these chirping messages. Or at least respond in an adult manner like: "Well, I just wiped out your entire team. So it actually shows I have more skill that you think. Let's play again, and see how I obliterate you all again
and again and again, because I'm just THAT good!"

Your original post was already modified by a moderator, to keep the conversation "kid friendly" in a public forum.

Best thing to do is not reply to the person and simply block them, Or alternatively do not swear at the other player if you feel the need to reply to them.

Swearing will always result in a communications ban.
