Got charged even after I cancelled XBL

I cancelled my XBOX Live membership because I got xbox live 3 month codes for black friday.

I even got a notification saying that my membership would run out on its proper time on December 16th.

Even though I went on the microsoft site and cancelled my subscription, I was still charged for this month.

I went to paypal for a refund on this fraudulent charge but I would like to go through Microsoft first.

Cancelled Membership but still billed.

I turned off auto renewal, and was STILL billed for my xbl. I haven't played my xbox in 2 months was just getting charged for not even using it, than looked at my bank statement this morning and overdrafted $100 because of the recurring payment from xbl.
Really a load of ***. I know i cancelled it for a fact due to me not having the money to pay it the month before, and wasn't charged, and yet this month i got charged????

I cancelled this... I DID NOT WANT IT TO BEGIN WITH!!!! and you people still charged me even after i cancelled and turned off auto renewal!!!! I WANT THIS FIXED NOW!

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If there is a charge you should be able to see the transaction via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.

Once you have canceled a subscription, there shouldn’t be a charge.

Kindly check all of your Microsoft accounts where the charge may be.

Unfortunately, I can't see an option to contact a real support. I can only get in touch with gamer no matter what I select. I got a sparkle of hope for a second but it looks like that this might need a different solution.

You'll need to contact support and speak to billing. You can request a call back or chat with them (chat with support not an expert gamer) at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us I you don't see those options, change your category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

I guess my only concern is that even though I just got charged, my subscription will cancel out in two days.

My logic is that I just got charged for another month, so why would I only be able to use XBL for two days of that month until it expires?

However, from the looks of it, I don't fully understand the billing system in its entirety.
