    My nephew (15) gave my son (5) his old 360. It was a very generous gesture. I have just recently set it up for him and he's loving the old SKYLANDER games.

    I would like to sign in on my LIVE account so I can play some of the 360 games I got on GOLD (set it up on the same account as my XBOX ONE).

    I tried to sign in and I was told the account is already in use: I know that, it's on my ONE. Do I need a whole new account? I can't seem to figure this out.

    Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sign out of all your other microsoft accounts and then try. You dont need to set up a new one .

    signed in to one Xbox One console and one Xbox 360 console     at the same time. However, there are some apps that you can't use on different consoles at the same time. Are you using an Xbox 360 backwards compatible game on the Xbox One when you are signing
    in to the Xbox 360? The account cannot be used on the Xbox 360 when you are using an Xbox 360 backwards compatible game on the Xbox One. Be sure to let us know the results!

    No. I am trying to clarify that i tried to pay for the game on the xbox app and i got it for the xbox one not for the xbox 360. I payed for the game with both a credit card and a gift card. But i never got a refund on the xbox gift card.

    I've got a gift card (not points or rewards), I entered and redeemed the code (using the MS Store on my cpu; Chrome) and tried to redeem them through Chrome as well. The only payment option I see is for my CC "on file." But of course I'm wishing to use
    my gift card, not my CC.

    COINCIDENTALLY I'm wanting to purchase 360 backwards game. Is this a known "glitch" in the xbox/MS system?
