    Got a suspension from Communications on Xbox Live. The whole process reeks of illegitimacy.


    I was first aware of my suspension when I tried to send a message to someone. Only when I logged in the following day did I get a proper message on Xbox live that I had a suspension. I have many issues with the enforcement department that I will express here.



    1. I have no idea why I have a suspension. I checked the enforcement page and it says I was suspended because of bad language on a voice or text message etc. I have no idea what particular language or incident is being referenced, so I don't know if the suspension is legitimate. In order to prove guilt in a court of law, the accuser would have to show this is what you did and it violated these rules, therefore you are punished. This burden of proof was not met. I have no idea what got me banned, so I have no idea how to prevent it in the future.

    2. If you do accept that this suspension was legitimate, I was supposed to receive a suspension of 24 hours, but it is several hours longer than that. My suspension was started on July 26 at 10:36 pm and is supposed to end on July 28 at 2:36 am. That's more than 24 hours.

    3. When I went online to the enforcement website and clinked on the "Give Feedback" tab I get a trip back to the main enforcement page with the message "ohh..that should not have happened!!!". These enforcement jerks are trolling us.

    This experience has made me seriously question Xbox and their "enforcement department". If this is how Xbox conducts these processes, I'm not sure if Xbox is a company that I want anything to do with anymore.

    Sorry about this situation. Unfortunately, only the Xbox enforcement team can handle suspensions. Not all communication bans are for 24 hours. They can be much longer than that.

    You can try to submit a case review if eligible. If you are not eligible, unfortunately nothing can be done but wait until your suspension is done.
