    Hi, i need some help to improve the video quality related to the Gopro Channel (Xbox One): most of video present on the channel are played with a lot of interruptions, i have a quite good internet connection (Download about 30 Mb/s). Is there a way to encrease
    a kind of memory buffer to get a smooth video?

    I love the idea. I have wanted a Hero 3 or whatever for my fishing trips to do underwater stuff with sharks and such. Such a great idea, a must have app.

    Hey there NervyGoldfish6,

    Sorry to hear about the network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)

    Let's then have you try to do a Network power cycle, to see if it helps.

    • Start by powering off and unplugging your Modem, Router (if applicable) and Xbox One console.
    • After 60 seconds of the devices being powered off, turn on the power to your Modem and then the Router (if applicable).
    • Wait another 60 seconds for the network equipment to turn on and gain the proper signals from your ISP. Then turn on your Xbox One console.

    That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

    They had me do the following:

    * Restart my console

    * Check the Xbox Live status and my network connection

    * Log out and log back into my account

    * Uninstall and reinstall the app from the Microsoft Store

    * Restore my console back to factory defaults while keeping my games and apps

    * Uninstall and reinstall the app again

    Ive been having this exact same issue and gave up on it sad to say. I purchased a gopro hero 8 black and was going to use the xbox app as my main way of streaming all my vacation clips. Ive been occasionally downloading this app and reinstalling it since
    the end of november and have been getting the exact same msg everytime like you. “Gopro server unavailable”. So annoying because now since the hero8 isnt getting their adaptor for hdmi mini port until later this month in canada, the only way to try out my
    clips on my big tv is to sit around, wait for this attachment thats 80$ along with a mini to big hdmi cable that will probably be another 60-80$ on top of that, that I also wouldnt have needed if this app actually worked on my xbox. Nice to see someone with
    the exact same issue because i searched many times for a solution and youre the first other person ive seen post about it. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Sad i have to drop an extra 150-200$ for my only other alternative.

    I'm not in a position to test the app myself to see if it is a service outage, but I would contact Official Support
    and let them know you're experiencing an outage. It might be an issue on GoPro's side (I'm not sure if there is another GoPro Channel app on another service to test if it's working there), an issue with Xbox Live (in which reporting to Official Support
    would help with the investigation), or a local issue. When did you notice the service stopped working? Were you able to view the content recently?
    I just recently downloaded the app having never used it before. I think it was either yesterday or the day before and haven't been able to get past the error message since.
