Discus and support Google Play error code 910 when trying to update/install Xbox Beta app in XBoX on Mobile to solve the problem; The Xbox Beta app on Android is failing to update on my Google Pixel with error code 910.     Google Play error code 910 when trying to update/install Xbox Beta app


    The Xbox Beta app on Android is failing to update on my Google Pixel with error code 910.

    Other app updates (Bumble, Clock, Fruit Ninja Fight, etc) have not had any Google Play update issues. Even the release version of the Xbox app updated without any issue.

    I have tried the following to no avail

    1. Updated my phone to the latest system software (I hadn't taken the January 2019 Pixel update when I first noticed this).

    2. Cleared cache and data of the Google Play Store.

    3. Uninstalled and attempted to reinstall (this gave me the same error code as the update did).

    The Google Pixel doesn't have an SD card slot so neither of those solutions are applicable.

    I recommend emailing support to get contact information for the Xbox App Support team.

    Might be able to email you the update to install yourself.

    This issue has been resolved now. Just tried the install again and it worked as expected.

    My guess is that there was an issue with an update that was published to Google Play.

    Do you have an SD card in your device?

    Error 910 seems happens when an SD card set as a default storage.

    Solutions:

    1. Go to storage setting and set default storage setting to “Phone memory” or “Let the device decide”. Try to reinstall the app again.

    2. Move the app to internal storage and then back to external storage (SD card), reboot and then try to update it.
