    Hello,

    Looking for input on a good Gaming PC that can effectively run all the Halo games. I'm not looking to break the bank so I need some reccomendations for a viable option that will feel like playing on an Xbox One.

    How you define effectively? Are graphics important? Extreme framerate? Does this have to run Halo Infinite?

    These are the recommende specs for the Halo 5 Forge, should be a good place to start

    • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k at 3.4GHz or AMD equivalent.
    • OS: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition.
    • VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 970 4GB VRAM.
    • FREE DISK SPACE: 40 GB.
    • DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 4 GB.

    built my pc with used parts, dont be worried about used parts but always purchase a hdd and power supply new.

    I have capped my fps on my pc to match my monitor so i get a constant 144fps in halo masterchief collection at max.

    doom eternal 144fps maxed out also

    a GTX 2060 used which i got for £270 after haggling, then i got a used board with i5 7600k and 16GB ddr 4 for £140 then i recycled my old pc case and psu and ssd/hdd job done.

    have since chucked in another ssd for speedier loading. which was 32.99

    Total cost 442.99 + 1 hour of my time building it and installing windows.

    Obviously you would need to add a little for an hdd for storing the games on and

    power supply.

    Just keep looking on the used sites, you eventually get a really good deal turn up.

    Halo 1-4 "The Master Chief Collection" for Xbox One

    I'll play any type if it's good but I always find myself returning to FPS games.

    Back on 360 it was Halo 3.

    Now it's Team Fortress 2 on PC.

    If Halo 5 was good enough I'd definitely consider Xbox One.

    What a comeback! Reach is the best selling game on steam.

    Is good to see that because first, we know that Halo still a important brand, and second, we know that PC players want more Halo games. I hope this continue with the other additions since Reach was just the first Halo that came out, there still Halo CE,
    Halo 2, 3 ODST and 4. I hope they add all this games and Halo 5 (I know they didn't announced that Halo 5 will be on PC but I think it should be) before the release of Halo Infinite.
