Good day i need to update my Xbox 360, but i get the status error...

I get the message from the Xbox that everything is good - no errors.

I don't think that Ryse needed to update, but my console completed the day one update fine.

If you haven't tried any procedure yet, try clearing the cache on your console.

Cache 360

Clear the console cache like this:

1. Press the XBOX button on the controller, go to "Settings" and select "System Settings".

2. Select "Storage".

Highlight, but do not select, a storage device and press the Y button on the controller to access Device Options.

Note: The selected storage device does not matter. This procedure will clear all cache storage devices.***

3. On the Device Options screen, select Clear System Cache.

4. When asked to confirm storage device maintenance, select "Yes".

Note: After successfully clearing the system cache, you will be returned to the Storage Devices screen. Press the XBOX button on the controller to return to Xbox Home.

My Xbox 360 says I need an update and giving me a status code of 4476-0000-3080-0504-8007-0070. What does that code mean? and how do I get an update? I would love to be able to play my 360!!

Hello, for the 2nd error code it could be that your system isn't updated to the new version so you might need to get that install (go to this link

support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-info to get the update as it can help you) the 3rd error code is usually used if there is a maintenance so check this link (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status)

my 360 was working pretty good before the update and after the update all i get is the open tray error =( hope they do another update to fix the problem.
