    so these golden gears pack make me so mad. On top of having a season pass with no rewards to it I spent additional money trying to golden gear. With all the packs I spent money and in game currency on (around 50 packs) I still did not receive the golden
    gear. They should've made it a reward for the season pass owners instead of us relying on RNG and hope to get it on a pack that's only going to be available the select times in October. I don't complain at all about the packs because they cycle...but the limited
    time only golden gear packs was a hole and an insult to dedicated gears of war fans. I had the game since launch with season pass and they can't grant us 1 character in celebration of the year mark? All I ask is the coalition make the limited time only stuff
    available to season pass holders instead of us opening numerous packs and not getting it.

    Veteran Gear Medal Is The Only Way To Get Flaming Gnasher

    Obtaining Veteran Gear (level 100) achievement in Gears of War 2 will unlock the following in Gears of War 3:

    Golden Lancer

    Golden Hammerburst

    Golden Gnasher

    Golden Sawn-Off

    Golden Retro Lancer

    Veteran Gear medal/title

    to get golden lancer in gears 2 you had to pre order the game. and then to get golden hammy you had to attend midnight madness.

    i know this because i have them both.

    veteran gear achievement does not unlock the golden lancer in gears 2. It only unlocks the golden weapons in gears 3.

    The golden lancer was part of the Epic Edition of Gears of War 2, and all who had it in Gears of War 2 will have it in Gears of War 3. The second way to obtain the Gold Lancer is to get the "Veteran Gear" Achievement in Gears of War 2.

    Gold Hammerburst

    The Golden Hammerburst was part of a midnight-madness event for Gears of War 2. Also, if you get the Veteran Gear achievement in Gears of War 2 it will unlock the golden skin for all five starter weapons.
