Sorry to hear it. At the moment you're account is showing as Silver, not gold. If you redeemed the membership on the website it can take some time to populate your account. To speed up the process go to Settings>System>Network and run a Connection Test.


This will sign your gamertag out. When you log back in you should show as Gold.

If that doesn't work then log in to commerce.microsoft.com and click on Services & Subscriptions to ensure the membership was placed on the correct gamertag.

There's not a 12 month subscription for Ultimate. You can buy a 12 month prepaid card for Gold and then purchase 1 month of Ultimate (after adding the Gold) to convert it to Ultimate.

Gold only costs $60 for a 12 month subscription so I definitely wouldn't purchase it for $80. With that being said, if you paid $60 for an annual Gold subscription and then the monthly $10 Game Pass subscription, you would pay $180 for a year of services,
which is the same as 12 months of the $15 a month Game Pass Ultimate. It just depends on how you want to pay or bundle the services. You can upgrade to Ultimate at any time, but it will convert whatever Gold you have left. For example, if you have 12 months
of gold and convert to Ultimate, you will only end up with 4 months of Ultimate. Conversion is based on cost. 4 months of Ultimate is valued at $60, which is the cost of 12 months of Gold.
