Gold membership not loading

Hi guys,

Yesterday I bought my son his first xbox live gold membership for 12 mths. We have loaded it all and created a profile, loaded the coupon 25 digit number for 12 mths etc but it is apparently telling him he is not a gold member. Can anyone give me any help
on what to do.

Xbox not loading past start up screen

im having same problem . wont load up on disc just gets stuck in loading mode . I then got gold membership still happening . I tried down loading free game w x box gold it down loads fine when you push to play it freezes

 

1 Gold Account for the whole family

My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

 

Are you posting here with the gamertag that you created for the gold account? If so, you show as being a gold member.

 

I have the same issue. Is the G symbol an indication of Gold?

I got a Live Gold 12+1 membership, on the console, redeemed the code but if I try & use e.g. last.fm it tells me I need gold.

If I go to xbox.com > Subscriptions, it just shows the xbox live logo & "buy Xbox gold" next to it. There's no purchase history.
