Gold Live vanished

Hello

This weekend there was an automated update of my xbox One. The problem is that we don't have Live Gold anymore and my son lost Fortnite on the Xbox. What do I have to do to get everything back?

Xbox one....when i tap it..it takes me to xbox live gold but since recently it has vanished

I've tried it but I can't see the Gold Live in my account.
Could it be possible that because I bought the Gold Live via internet and not via Microsoft that it expire previously?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity on what could be happening in your situation.

Sometimes when you are having problems accessing your subscription after renewing, it's best for you to refresh your account's info unto the console by removing and redownloading the profile as outlined in How
to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One.

If it doesn't come up afterwards, or you don't see if in the Order History it would seem likely that you might have purchased the subscription under a different accounts credentials.

please double check
http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there and make sure you are using the correct account on the console and on the link.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at
