Gold join Ultimate (without the $1)

I want to subscribe to xbox games Pass 14 days trial but I do not know its way to subscribe I demand that i am a company give up fortnite that you should play with xbox live gold but we are going through a difficult situation because of the spread of the

Here's a tip for other people doing this: don't turn on auto-billing to get 1 month free - cause now i can't add the 3rd year! I get this message: You've reached the limit of how far you can extend a subscription. Depending
on the product it could be 2-5 years.

Now i have to either wait 1 month to convert (and hope that the ratio will still be there), or convert today and get only 2 years.... and convert the 1 year gold code to 8m of ultimate ... grrrrr

New subscribers will get the 1:1 ratio converting from Gold to Game Pass Ultimate. That's probably not the case for the two people you mentioned. They probably had subscribed to game pass before that's why they don't receive the same conversion ratio.

Another tip, you can convert up to 36 months of Gold to Game Pass Ultimate when using this ratio. So if you have Gold for a year, that converts into a 13 months of Game Pass Ultimate. What lots of players did, stacking up on Gold up to 36 months and convert
that into Game Pass Ultimate to take advantage of this deal. So in total you would get 37 months of Ultimate for the best price possible.

Oh, awesome, i thought it's a promotional thing!!! Ok, then i'll wait 1 more month, add my 1year code, then convert!

Yes - i agree, there's a big misconception about it. There should def be a helpdesk article about this, or at least an entry in the FAQ on the main page imho.
