Gold has never been able to be purchased with Microsoft account funds. The only ways that you have ever been able to buy gold is with either a credit card/paypal or with a prepaid gold subscription card.

It will be 1 dollar for the first month then normal price the next month.

If you have xbox gold now, then 1 dollar will change all of your gold months remaining to Gamepass Ultimate all for 1 dollar. When that expires it will ne normal prices again.

no, thats not how it works

if you have 12 months gold and you convert to ultimate using the 1 dollar offer, your 12 months gold converts to 4 months of ultimate + 1 month for the 1 dollar offer.

so you get 5 month of ultimate for 12 months of gold, if you cancel you lose the lot.

You don't get 3months for 1 dollar

Thats the GAMEPASS DEAL not the gamepass ultimate which is 1 dollar for one month or 35 for 3 months for xgu

Only 3 for 1 dollar was the gamepass deal

If you selected 1 dollar with xgu it would be only 1 dollar for 1month

You can revert to gold by turning off autorenewal and wait it out

If you cancel it would be silly first it was a free upgrade for a dollar why not use it

You can use cloud to run games without installjng

Second you don't need to pay for gold till your time is up

You have to wait till the xgu expires after you turn off autorenewal to revert to free then buy gold again

Keep in mind you can't sign up yearly anymore you have to buy a prepaid yearly code then upgrade again if you wish to or keep it gold
