You'll want to talk with phone support to be sure, but it sounds like you have different renewal/billing dates.

Your billing date can be upto a month after your renewal date. So say your subscription renewed on 2/24/12, but didn't bill you until sometime in march. It will try for 27 days before it suspends the account. If you hit another renewal before that date,
it stacks the two.

So the 21 is you paying for a past due and the current balance.

If you had a renewing membership (of course), the billing date and renewal date are two separate things. Say your Gold membership renewed on the 15th of the month, but your account's billing date is the 5th of the month. If your Gold membership renews on
10/15, then the charge for the 10/15-11/15 term of the membership will process on 11/5. Now, if you disabled autorenew prior to 11/5, then this charge is probably unexpected. However, it is a valid charge.

The points for that renewal will not take effect until the actual renewal date. Therefore, your original renewal date is set for March 2012 the new gold will not take effect until March 2012. You will see those points as pending within 45 days after the
new gold takes effect.

They are not going to give you a refund. It's your responsibility to turn off auto-renew. Your subsciption renewal date and billing date are two different things. They bill like a utility, if you had a renewal date of the 15th, but your billing date is the
14th, they'll wait until the next month to the 14th to bill, since they won't bill a day early into the sub you already have. Bottom line you agreed to auto-renewal, or to at least go to xbox.com and turn it off, and you didn't. If you had a PPC to switch
too for another 3months/12 months they would refund it, provided you can provide the valid Prepaid Code.

What you should see is

End Date : then the date your gold runs out

Renewal : Off

Renwal Price : N/A

Payment : N/A

If it's still saying Renewal still on then i'd give support a ring just to confirm that it is turned off.
