    Glitching and shutting down


    I am playing the world tour and the challenges stop working after a bit and it shuts down. I restart and do a couple more challenges and then it does it again. I just want to let you know and it did not do this before today.

    It would only shut down when you turn it off, or if you leave it idle for some time (there's a setting for that).

    It should never shut down abruptly while you're playing a game.

    Several questions for you:

    - Do you get any sort of error message when you turn it back on?

    - Are you able to turn it back on immediately after it shuts off?

    - Are the system fans really loud and the console is hot to the touch after it turns off,

    perhaps from overheating    ?

    Hey there -

    Sorry to hear about that. Does this happen while playing any game in particular or does it happen seemingly at random? Take a look at the troubleshooting guide for the

    Xbox One console turning off unexpectedly     and follow the suggestions provided there. If you continue to experience issues, you can try a

    factory reset     of your Xbox One and see if that helps. If you still experience the issue and are within your retailer's return/exchange window, you may want to return you console for a new one. If you are outside that window, you may want to consider having
    your console repaired/replaced. You can initiate that process via the
    Online Service Center    .

    might be a glitch in the profiles....remove them all ,then shut everything down and re add them ....

    Theater was shut down to fix a glitch, but other than that it has worked fine for me, dunno.

    Halo 4 Limited Edition DLC completely disappeared

    Xbox LIVE shut down later last night. This morning it was back, but I had to select it. I'm suspecting that Xbox LIVE wasn't authenticating DLC and that's why the service shut down.

    The little glitches are still annoying.
