Glitch with updating games and apps

Not that big, probably only minor things, permanent glitch fixes for some of the big games like Skyrim or Halo 4, used to be that all you needed to do to play a game an take advantage of a in-game glitch was clear your cache an play
off line with out an update, now you cant do that, because these glitches are fixed by these console updates. Also I wouldnt be suprised if there was some app & Format updates included too.. One glitch I miss is the chip glitch on Fallout:New Vegas, was nice
starting a game with a couple hundred thousand casino chips, game changer glitches like that need a perment fix..

Do you know when the next update is going to be, also is there a way that we can see what the update is doing, for example, if the update is fixing glitches in certain games or if there is an update for the Facebook app or the adobe flash player?

I couldn't tell you why the game update was the entire game again, seems like it was a glitch in the update process. It's not happened to me recently, but I've seen this issue before, both on Windows and Xbox consoles. I've got Starfield on Steam, so I have no experience of this game via the Xbox App.

Unfortunately, when games update on the Xbox app, they don't download the update and then install it, they download and install at the same time. This means if you cancel an update it will remove the entire game. This is because the game will now be incomplete and wouldn't run.

Unfortunately you'll need to download the game again. Hopefully this will have been a one of glitch.

*Update* Did a hard reset of the system and removed everything, games/apps included, and the glitch is back after it sat off for a hile. So it must be a system update issue or something perhaps???

This sounds like a glitch within the app. You may have to wait for the developers to patch it with an update.
