    Since you said you're done, this probably won't be taken to heart, but I'll do my best just the same.

    Yes, based on what you said you said, you would be susceptible to being suspended due to an infraction of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct, but there's no sense in dwelling on that. As to why you couldn't post, there is a separate set of rules for using the
    Forums, and infractions of those rules can indeed result in your privileges here being suspended. It has nothing to do with you being right or wrong ... rules are rules, and if you choose not to follow them, then you should reasonably expect some undesirable
    consequences to be leveled against you.

    Now, as to how you get support. I work for an unrelated software company that has adopted a very similar technique. We have plenty of agents in our call center - in fact, we hire up during our busy season - so it's not a desire to not hire any. It actually
    lets the agents work on more unusual or account-specific problems. For common problems, crowd-sourcing support does work rather well. We redirect users initially to our own help pages, and if those don't work, we'll schedule a time for one of our agents to
    call them (so the user doesn't waste time sitting on hold). However, most of the problems are solved by crowd-sourcing. You know the stereotypical "did you turn it off and back on again?" response of help-desk people? There's a reason it's always used ...
    it frequently works. The Microsoft Answers pages have been around for ages and serve users of other Microsoft products (like Office, Windows, etc.) very well, so it was reasonable to see Xbox brought into that system, too.

    Hopefully you'll find a platform that meets your specifications.

    There is nothing anyone in the forums can do about bans. If you break the Code of Conduct you should expect that a ban might be issues.

    You should log into the enforcement team website for information where you can also submit a case review if the suspension is eligible.
