Given details do not match card info

I still get the same error: "Check the info you entered. It doesn't match the info for this card." when I input the same details and card info on my other account, it works.

We had a subscription which was just cancelled. We tried reloading card details as we used the card successfully before bit it says info does not match card. We are in South Africa

Hello Brian, I don't know where you are trying to add your payment method, if you are using the console, click on the link below and log in with your account to try to add your payment method through the Microsoft management website.

You'll want to check the name and address you've entered match the details you've given to your card issuer. Your name must match the cardholder's name on the debit card itself, and your billing address must match the address your card issuer has on file.

You may find adding payment methods via the web at https://account.microsoft.com/ is an easier experience.

Sorry to hear about the issue. Let's see what we can do about this matter here.

First, make sure that you don't have any past due balances or suspended subscription on your account by checking it on https://account.microsoft.com/services.

Also, make sure to update your billing info correctly on https://account.microsoft.com > Payment & billing > Address book.

Don't forget to check your account region if it's set to your correct region by going to https://account.microsoft.com > Your info.

Your card must be issued in the same country where your account region is currently set to.

To further isolate the issue, you may as well try to add your cards to a different account if it accepts or not. So we can identify if it's an account issue or card issue.
