    Please, Please help.

    I have recently purchased a Xbox One Minecraft Bundle for my 7 year old son.

    Because my son was only 7 I had to create a parent account on the Xbox and installed Minecraft (Digital Copy) under my profile. I then created a Childs Profile and gave my permission for my Child to access the Minecraft Game.

    I then created a auto sign-on for my Child account to sign in automatically, but whenever he wishes to play Minecraft I have to login in also - which is driving me mad.

    Before I re-purchase Minecraft for my Child Account is there anything I can do ??

    I've spent hours googling but can't seem to find the correct answer.

    That happens when you have registered a child account. Your parent account should give permission to a child account to play online

    how to add child to xbox live without a console so that minecraft realms work?

    We're trying to use Minecraft PE to connect to a realm. The child account was created from Minecraft PE on iOS, the account appears under the parent Microsoft account family, but does not appear under the Parent Xbox Live family.

    The child was successfully invited to a realm created by the parent, but when the child tries to connect, gets the message "You cannot play on Realms because of how your Xbox Live account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings
    on Xbox.com".

    However, the child can't change those settings, the parent needs to, but the parent can only change them from the Xbox account view (where, in this case, the child does not show up).

    We do not have an Xbox console. We just want to play MInecraft with family and friends on a realm.

    Microsoft support says there's no way to add the child without an Xbox console. I wonder why Minecraft PE walked us through creating a child account in the first place?

    Set the console as your Home console. He should have access to the game.

    Problem:

    You see the following error and message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live using a child account:

    Before you can sign in here, you'll need to sign in at Xbox.com.

    An adult will also need to sign in so they can give permission.

    Code: 83118853

    This means that the parent account must provide permission for each associated child account (under age 13) before the child can access Xbox Live

    Solution:

    To resolve this issue, have the child account sign in to Xbox.com. Then, when prompted, the parent account associated with the child account should sign in to Xbox.com and give permission for the child account to sign in to Xbox Live.

    If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.

    This is happening to my son's account too. I looked up the code in the support code seazrch. It says:

    Error 83118853 occurs when you try to sign in to Xbox Live using a child account

    Problem:

    Solution:

    So I did this. I signed into my son's account on xboxlive.com, it gave the prompt then I signed in. When I signed in it said I had to charge my current pay method $0.50. Ya I know that's not a lot but they already know I am an adult and I have made several
    purchases through the xbox including my Live membership. I do not want it charging me for this. It is unnecessary. I have been a member for about 5 years, my son for at least the last 3. He was logged in earlier today and it didn't ask this. I want my son's
    account working without me having to give someone more money.
