give option with skype to mute your mic in all other games and apps while call is active

as title says i want a option so that when im playing a game people dont get my end of the skype call coming into game chat as people think im talking to them and dont realise im on skype with my friends

G'day Penguin! Let's get this Skype stuff sorted out. =)

First off, Skype is not currently able to snap into the right column. You can snap other apps while talking on Skype though.

As for the notifications, let's make sure everything is enabled in your console's settings. From the Settings menu, select Preferences, and add a check mark to the Show Skype notifications option.

Are your call notifications not coming through at all, or have you only noticed this behavior in a particular app or game?

 

Skype question

When using the skype app on Xbox One, if you are skypeing with a friend and playing a multiplayer game at the same time, your voice is broadcast BOTH in Skype and in-game chat. Also, any in-game chat from other players is also passed through your headset.
This is both very consfusing and annoying.

I was wondering if it was possible to mute yourself, and all others in-game, whilst you use skype to talk to someone else. I realise you can just mute everyone in-game yourself, but this still means they will hear you talking to someone.
