    GIve it another try 0x80070005


    I am unable to open any games on my console. I receive the error code "Give it another try Not sure what happened here (0x80070005)". I have tried a hard restart; removed all profiles, restarted, then added the profiles back; and checked the Xbox live status
    screen but I sill have not resolved this issue. Please help.

    Yesterday, I got this message that I had never seen before. I turned my XB1 on, and when I selected the game I wanted to play, I got the following error message:

    Give it another try. Not sure what happened there. (0x80070005)

    No matter what game I select, I get the same error message. Rebooting does not fix the problem. Also, if I eject the game disc, the Xbox shuts down. I googled it and found an Xbox help page that suggested that I remove my profile, restart the Xbox, and then
    add my profile again. That does solve the problem. However, now it happens every single time I turn my Xbox on. I shouldn't have to delete and re-add my profile every single time I want to play. Any one know what's causing this? Is there a permanent fix?

    Everytime I try to play ww2 it keeps kicking me out and says to try opening the game again and if that doesnt work restart the xbox... ive done that 7 times now and it still hasnt worked any ideas on how to fix this?

    Update: Gaming services is finally installed after hours. Still an error when trying to download a big game (Sea of Thieves is the one I am trying to download). But now it gives another error code: 0x80070005. This is very annoying, trying to get this
    fixed for days now.

    Hey there!

    Which steps have you tried so far? Normally if this behavior occurs, a quick power cycle will do the trick. Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console until it fully powers down and give it another shot!

    Try to download Vampyr for example and you'll see error 0x80070005 .

    Have you tried a
    Factory Restore on your Xbox One console     yet? If you haven't, please give that a shot and be sure to select 'Reset and keep my games & apps'.

    Let us know how it goes!
    I have tried that and it's been getting the error less, but I do still get it occasionally.

    Hi. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the game? Also, you can contact the developer at their website for more info, too. Try reinstalling the game first. If that doesn't work, you can contact Mojang, the developers.
