Give Activision a message and stop playing this game.

I was a die hard fanboy of cod once. After mw3 i became tired of the whole series, one for the same old lag comp system the series has had since cod 2. I didn't change for AW either, if anything the lag comp is worse. My ping is usually between 20 and
30 m/s and I always have 3 or 4 bars. I did a test with a friend in private match and found that this game is terrible for around the corner kills and many other things that the series has been getting worse with. I setup 2 tv's and 2 xbox's and me and my
friend played side by side.

1) just with two people in the lobby

2) I could peek at my friend around the corner and pop back around the corner and my didn't even see me unless I paused for a few seconds.

3) When my friend was running I had to aim behind him in order for a hit to count.

4) when I was running my friend had to aim ahead of me to hit me.

5) We stood facing each other and I shot him and killed him with one burst of my ak-12

6) My friend shot me with the same weapon and it took the entire clip to kill me.

You see the problem with the quake lag comp engine. Quit using it, go to dedicated serviers!

So I get into a lobby with my 28 m/s ping and start playing ffa. When the game started I noticed that 7 players have 3 or more bars and one individual has 2. The 2 waxed the floor with us every time I got in a face to face battle I and everyone else lost.
I feel like my character can't kill nothing and it takes an entire clip to kill someone.

And other times I get online and can play fine, when this happens I usually win or finish top 3. This only happens once a week all other times its lag and I finish next to last. This is why I got rid of this crap and moved on. Cod is dead.

And what is the deal with no search preferences? I search for a game now and I get into a match with people speaking in German or French! I'm on the east coast not Europe.

Bottom line is the game looks great but the lag comp, bad spawning system, I don't know why cause every time a cod comes out the spawns are horrible so why not fix this before the game hits rather than a patch a month or so down the road. I personally think
the game was built on a Bo1 platform it looks identical and think You guys at Sledgehammer didn't do anything other than borrow some templates from Treyarch to build AW. Ghost had the create a system down with the pick system with being able to rank up multiple
characters at once you guys took that away and still again the new cod is just the same old cod with prestige, pick systems, and now even crappier killstreak rewards.

I would suggest everyone try this for themselves if possible or next time you are online try aiming either before or after the laggers and see if you get a kill. To me the game is so frustrating I just about took the game out the other day and threw it,
but I figured trading it was the best solution

Or, if you want a laughable one -- Contact Activision/Treyarch and ask them to fix their game. lol.

Dedicated servers should be the number 1 priority, and if that isn't going to happen then a server browser where you can at least select region is a MUST.

Having said all that, I remember COD3 which used P2P connections and never had any of this trouble even with more players.

Sort it out Activision, or watch everyone that is left flock to Battlefield which may be rubbish when it releases but at least gets it right eventually.

 

Cod 3 was my second favorite. I liked it most for the vehicles and fun private matches where anyone could join. I didn't care about playing ranked matches except for achievements. I hosted some great battles that some of my friends still talk about. I
never had too many problems playing cod 3, I remember you had to have everyone ready up to start the match and the issue with people getting out of the map or using the elevator glitch, but thats about it.

 

I am not having any issues. the game is fun in my opinion. they could work on the spawns but other than that I like it!

 

The lag is indeed awful, I spent the whole day in laggy lobbies getting destroyed yesterday, the final game everyone in the lobby bar one player were on red dots the whole game. I dont like to bail on games so I stick them out.

The one decent game I had we were all kicked back to the lobby due to a rage quit <sigh>, it seems the more things change the more they remain the same with this franchise.

No issues with Titanfall, Battlefield, Forza 5 or Horizons (apart from the ongoing dumb screen tearing issues with the console).

One would think that by now the Devs and Live would have had a handle on this issue, I guess as long as we are stupid enough to keep giving them money then they aren't going to change anything for us.

I guess that this is my last Cod title, thank god AC is out soon.

 

as ever this game was rushed like the others, why dont people wait a month or 2 before purchasing and give them a chance to iron out all the bugs, as for lag comp that will never ever change, biggest game franchise ever and they dont even have dedicated
servers though they said they would, this company has been taking the mickey out of the community far too long, thats why i for the news from you guys about the game before i was gonna buy it, so glad i didnt buy it, i feel for those guys who downloaded it

Everyone needs to keep Tweeting at Sledgehammer and Activision about Dedis until they get the message.If people don't tell them the connection's terrible they won't know or try to fix it.

I'm a die hard titanfall fan now days. EA and Respawn has got something good going for them. I have been playing the game most of the year and they keep adding stuff to keep u interested. After all Respawn is the original cod developers. The game runs
smooth as silk for me. Its fast paced, and just when you are doing good people start to get titans and the game changes.

 

Left Titanfall after the first week. I really was put off by the bots. Did they ever introduce a gamemode without the bots?

 

No, but pilot hunter is just about killing pilots. The bots are still there but don't count towards team score

 

Here’s the problem, consumers will not do this, which is sad because if we did do this things would change by now and their priorities would have changed fast. The fact that a week into this I yet to receive advance arsenal shows that this game was not finished.
I talked to a few friends and all say the same thing, as big as the gaming community is we should be able to get together and send a clear message out but we don’t.

You have to also remember that there’s a lot of kids who play this game and the last thing on their mind is either not play the game or do something to make them understand. So we have a strong house yet we are divided by the people who care and those who
don’t. I have not played the game since the 4th I believe and I won’t play it. As of right now I have a BBB complaint against them with all the information needed to include my 7 cases I have opened with activation about the game. What’s surprising is how
people spend an hour or two on the phone with their tech support but can't file a complaint. So unless we the gamers actually do something this is just going to be the cycle of such companies

 

Ghost is looking better everyday to me.I sold that game after a month.LOL.
