    I'm not experienced with xbox. I uploaded a gift card to my parent account in error as it was meant for my child. How do I send him a game as a gift, using the gift card credit? Thank you for any advice you may be able to give.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    I apologize but it's not possible to transfer a Microsoft balance from one account to another, you may need to use the balance in buying a game as a gift that you can send to your son.

    Find the game you want to give in the Xbox store, choose "purchase as a gift", and use your Microsoft account balance as the payment option.
