I sent my friend Dragonborn2323 a gift of Payday 2 but he is in Canada and I was wondering if there was any way for you to give him a Canada version of the code so he can accept it since I payed $17.15 for us to play it

No as gifting is region locked

You have to find an etailer Luke Amazon or gamestop to buy a localized code for his region

There is different taxes and rules for every region

if your friend is in a different region, he would have to try finding a code from a retailer that sells them for your region. Gifting through Xbox is region locked and Microsoft will not swap the code from a different region.

You cant. Your friend will have to request a refund for the code and purchase a code for you that is meant for your region.

Unfortunately that is not possible. I've made gift purchases and neither of my friends living in a different region could gain access to retrieve the gift because they lived in a different country.
