Gifted a game, money was accepted, but my friend didn't receive the game

I recently gifted the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Digital Deluxe Edition to my friend for about $42, after tax and given that is was on sale. However, despite the order being accepted and it showing up under "Payment & Billing" on my account, my friend said that she didn't get it. Once more I go through the process, thinking it might not have actually gone through. The order is accepted and it says that the gift has been sent. Yet again, she says she did not get the game.

I trust my friend completely as she's one of my best friends. She would not lie about something like this. I also cannot ask for a refund on the second time I gifted the game.

What is going on? Why isn't she receiving the game and why can I not get a refund on the second gifting?

Kindly ask your friend to perform a powercycle on her console and then check again on her Xbox message center.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If it's still not showing up, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and click on "order details" under your gifted transaction, you should see the 25-digit code that you should give to your friend.

I'm in the same boat. I received my invite months ago, but as I was playing games with a group of friends who didn't have preview, I didn't accept the invite at that time. Now the message is gone, and I can't accept it anymore. If anyone with the ability
to check my invite status and resend me a message it would be greatly appreciated. I asked a friend, and she sent me a "new" invite yesterday, but I haven't received that either, just fyi.
