    Gift Card Redemption


    Hello, community! I have been having trouble redeeming a $25 gift card that I got a few days ago. When I enter the code into the Microsoft redeem page, a message that says
    "Contact merchant to use code" is displayed. I initially was going to use this to buy V-bucks, but the same message is displayed within the game itself.

    Method 1: Redeem gift card in store

    The easiest way to add money from a gift card to your account is to redeem it in-store. To do this, go to a store that sells gift cards and present the card to the cashier. The cashier will give you a receipt with a redemption code.

    Once you have the redemption code, you can enter it into your online account or the store's app. The money from the gift card will be added to your account balance.

    Method 2: Redeem the gift card online

    You can also redeem the gift card online. To do this, visit the store's website and look for the gift card section. Enter the gift card code and follow the instructions to complete the redemption process.

    Once you have redeemed the gift card, the money will be added to your account balance.

    If you purchased 4x$15 gift cards, in your order history appears 4 redemptions?
    (Change x4 and $15 for the quantity and value that you purchased)

    If they're available they'd be on the redemption part of the Rewards site with the other gift cards. If it's not listed, then it's not available.

    Reward Points convert to MS currency.

    With Microsoft Rewards points you just go to their redemption page and redeem the points for either an Xbox gift card or a Live card (it's not possible to purchase gold using currency from gift cards through Xbox) and a code will be emailed to you. If you
    need further assistance, you would need to contact customer support for the Microsoft Rewards program via their redemption page. They are not the same as the Xbox Rewards program.
