Gift card redemption problem

Discus and support Gift card redemption problem in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; tried to redeem $10 gift card for $9.99 in fortnite vbucks and received error.     Gift card redemption problem


    tried to redeem $10 gift card for $9.99 in fortnite vbucks and received error. Now card says redeemed and remaining balance shows $0.01.

    Xbox rewards

    Xbox Rewards credits cannot be redeemed towards a Microsoft store gift card. You may be referring the Microsoft Rewards program which can be redeemed towards gift cards. You would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.

    Microsoft Rewards is the new program. Perhaps try going to that page and seeing if that works? It should be allowable under a generic "Xbox Gift Card" redemption card. Once you select that you should be able to select for what amount you would like the gift
    card.

    Method 1: Redeem gift card in store

    The easiest way to add money from a gift card to your account is to redeem it in-store. To do this, go to a store that sells gift cards and present the card to the cashier. The cashier will give you a receipt with a redemption code.

    Once you have the redemption code, you can enter it into your online account or the store's app. The money from the gift card will be added to your account balance.

    Method 2: Redeem the gift card online

    You can also redeem the gift card online. To do this, visit the store's website and look for the gift card section. Enter the gift card code and follow the instructions to complete the redemption process.

    If you purchased 4x$15 gift cards, in your order history appears 4 redemptions?
    (Change x4 and $15 for the quantity and value that you purchased)
