Gift card not received after purchase

I purchased a xbox one s on December 27th, 2017. The deal was the Xbox one s it came with battlefield 1, The crew, forza horizon 3 and a $50 Microsoft store gift card. The gift card card was suppose to be email 5-7 days from the purchase and it has been
a week since the purchase date. I haven't got the email.

Reward Points issued instead of Gift Card

On 8/3/15 I pre-ordered Rare Replay and it was to come with a 10 Dollar Gift card. After placing the order I received a conformation e-mail and this was at the bottom.

"Rare Replay for Xbox One - Additional Product Information:

Your $10 Xbox gift card code will be sent to email address associated with purchase within 10 days of game being shipped."

I pre-ordered a game off the Microsoft Store online and never received the 10 Dollar gift card for pre-ordering. After working with support online I found that this was issued reward points and not the gift card I was expecting. I was planning on using this
in store or on-line. If there is a way to use points in either of these place I'm unaware.

Please help. Why did I get points and not a gift card? Can I use points in store? What do I need to change so that I am issued a Card and not points for future purchases.

$50 Microsoft Gift Card with purchase of a console. NOT RECEIVED

I purchased an Xbox one madden bundle and it stated on the website that I would receive a $50 gift card along with my purchase. I bought the console on September 17th, 2014 and I still have not received the gift card.

On most of the 'gift with purchase' deals, the terms and conditions will say how long it will take for the gift card to be received.

Many times it can be 4-8 weeks after the purchase has been made.

I can't answer for Microsoft as I am not an employee.

However, I wouldn't think that Microsoft would feel disadvantaged. As, Everytime a user redeems a gift card Microsoft is receiving the proper payment for purchase of that gift card.

Even if the app you are using purchases the gift card from a third party seller, that third party seller would have a contract with Microsoft and would have purchased the gift card from Microsoft to begin with. This no matter how you look at it Microsoft is
making sales on these gift cards and receiving proper compensation for them.

I would think that the opposite of disadvantaged would be true, as these gift card redemptions increase Microsoft sales of the same giftcards

The $10 gift card is a promotion from microsoftstore.com. You would need to contact their customer service for assistance.

If you're a rewards member, you should have received 15,000 credits instead of the $10 gift card about 10-15 business days after the game shipped (they should show as pending). If not, you would need to post here -

If you purchased the game digitally, you would not receive the gift card/credits.

That’s really odd
The other option could be purchase a gift card (you can do it using the Xbox website or use a third party store like Walmart, Amazon, etc)
And redeem the gift cards in your account.

After that try purchasing the games and pay with Microsoft balance (the gift card)
