    Hi im in oman and my Region is uae I purchaseed a USA gift card and redeemed it now it shows I have 50usd in my microsoft account but when try to buy game it says change your store region in which your payment option was issued and your store need to match when I change to USA I dont get option to pay from microsoft what shell I do??

    Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done by Microsoft in terms of redeemed gift cards. You will need to take the gift cards back to the retailer where you purchased them from and explain the issue. They may issue a new gift card or refund your purchase.

    And yes people do switch regions to try and gain access to free content

    As smwutches mentioned part of verification includes verifying who you are

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    First, check and validate your Microsoft balance by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments, make sure that it's showing up from there.

    Once confirmed, try purchasing the game again.
