Gift-card doesn´t work

Discus and support Gift-card doesn´t work in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have bought 3 X-Box giftcards and tried to redeem their codes on the mcirosoft.com/redeem website.     Gift-card doesn´t work


    I have bought 3 X-Box giftcards and tried to redeem their codes on the mcirosoft.com/redeem website. However, I used up two and they failed to work even though I have carefully put in the code, Unfortunately the code is a bit warped. So I´d like to know if there´s any way for me to get another code or maybe if I somehow could redeem it.

    Change the region on Xbox Account

    Well, the Problem is that I can´t use a german gift Card Code on an american xbox account.

    So I wouldn´t be able to get Money on the xbox account.

    Changing the Location on the profile doesn´t help and the Microsoft account already is set to Germany.

    I don´t know why but the xbox account still thinks that it is in america...

    Hey Leon, sorry you're facing this trouble with your gift card. I'm happy to help in any way that I can here.

    First, check out this article from Xbox Support:

    If the code is warped and not redeeming, it sounds like an issue with the physical card itself. Your best bet is to go back to the store where you bought it and ask for a replacement. They should be able to check if it was properly activated at checkout. If a card isn’t activated correctly, it won’t work even if the code is entered right.
