Gift card doesn't appear to have "credited"

I bought my daughter a £5 gift card to purchase some in-game content a couple of weeks ago, which was put on her account.

She's tried to purchase the packs that she wants, but Xbox is saying she has no money on her account and that a parent should buy one of these amounts.

On looking at the family app I can see £5 paid into her account, followed immediately by a deduction of £5 - but with no reference or anything next to it. It's not been used to buy anything, but has just disappeared into the ether.

Has anyone got any advice?

Sorry to hear about that, however, I would suggest checking your daughter's account by logging in at account.microsoft.com/orders using her account. From there, you should see all the items she has purchased on her account.

If none, you can try requesting a refund for the credits you've added to her account by following the steps here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil... or at xbox.com/refunds - this will be done while you're logged in using your account.

Payment method doesn't matter. You can use credit card, Paypal, or currency from gift cards. You won't get credit for adding a gift card to your account.

Hi, when trying to purchase Simverse coins, I only get the following options;

Credit or Debit cards,

Paypal or Venmo,

Redeem a gift card.

Accessing the monies in my Microsoft account, as an option to buy, doesn't appear!

it appears mobile billing is no longer being offered in many countries. We have no information as to why or when it may resume, if ever

You can still pay by credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Xbox gift card

get a visa or mastercard GIFT card from 7-11, use that as your credit card to verify your billing info, after the download, spend the credit card so that xbox doesn't use the money in it.
