Gift Card Code Redemption Issues

I had purchased the Minecraft Pc edition last year in April 2015 through the Minecraft.net website through Mojang and I received a gift code for the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta. When I tried redeeming the code it didn't go through, and
I have been using the same account. I even accidentally purchased it after the code wasn't going through and I had it refunded but the redemption code is still not working.

The error message I get in the windows 10 store is to "Pick another way to pay. This code isn't from a gift card." And when I try redeeming the code through the xbox website it says that something went wrong. I was chatting earlier today with Drixy
G. through you support chat and they told me to make a post here. Here is the reference number for the chat 1353906272.

I also e-mailed Mojang.com about the issue with the redemption code not going through and I'm still waiting for their response. But according to Drixy G. the redemption code I provided is still valid and hasn't been redeemed. But why can't I redeem the my
code?

Yes. I already tried in the Microsoft Redeem and it says that the code was already redeemed. But its not showing up in my order history.

Method 1: Redeem gift card in store

The easiest way to add money from a gift card to your account is to redeem it in-store. To do this, go to a store that sells gift cards and present the card to the cashier. The cashier will give you a receipt with a redemption code.

Once you have the redemption code, you can enter it into your online account or the store's app. The money from the gift card will be added to your account balance.

Method 2: Redeem the gift card online

You can also redeem the gift card online. To do this, visit the store's website and look for the gift card section. Enter the gift card code and follow the instructions to complete the redemption process.

Once you have redeemed the gift card, the money will be added to your account balance.
