Ghosts keeps starting up on Campaign? Xbox One

same thing is happening to me. I have found if you actually back out to the main menu...then quit the game before shutting down the console...it prevents it from starting in campaign. still tho Before the update You did not have to do all that work.

 

I have this too.

Gonna try to pin the MP menu and see if that works.

Otherwise it's *** annoying.

The last update seems to have fixed the problem

 

Update doens't solve the problem!

Solution is to start the game from the pin wall. Make a shortcut to your pin wall and start the game from it. It works!!!

 

I'm having this annoying same issue. I thought I was going crazy because it didn't seem to always do this.

Hope they'll fix it soon.

 

Its Not your console or your account. Its a problem with the one past update.

I don't know why the developers take too much time to fix this.

The fastest way I've manage is to press start then Quit Game. Wait 2 seconds and launch it again.

It's annoying I know but is faster that waiting for the cutscene to end.

 

Yeah, I encounter the same issue every now and then. Other than removing and reinserting the disc (so that is starts at the main menu), there isn't much that can be done. Otherwise, like myself, you have to just deal and hope the RAM use of the XOne will
keep bringing you to where you left off in multiplayer as opposed to the campaign. Wish I could be of more help for both your and my sake.

 

Just to follow-up, it does appear that backing out to the Home Screen, going to the App Menu and choosing "quit," and then starting again DOES work for going directly to the menu.

 

Right there with you. Black ops 2 had a option to always go to multiplayer when started. Infinity ward need s to do that as well

 

i just go to the home screen and quit the app and then launch it again bad glitch

 

does work if you eject the disc an reinsert it once xbox has opened but seem to have to do that all the time . Also take the disc out and do a hard restart by holding the xbox on/off switch on the console to turn it off, does work for a fe goes but
ends up going back to starting up campain again

This bug is so annoying.

I find it disgraceful that there have been a couple of patches since this problem started and it still is fixed.

I'm going to try what was said earlier in the thread and pin the multiplayer menu to the home screen.

Keeping my fingers crossed

 

It no longer does this for me after beating the game.
