xbox one call of duty ghosts not playable. the multiplayer was working perfectly

my call of duty ghost it was starting up and then screen blacks out and the game is not scratched or nothing and all my games are working perfectly on my xbox one except my call of duty ghost

 

Ghosts keep loading campaign on startup

Hello, every time I startup ghosts on Xbox one, it keeps loading the Loki mission. I've playing through the mission but it keeps starting from the last checkpoint in the mission every time I load the game. At first I thought it was a preference load but
I couldn't find the option menu to change the load preference. This is really getting annoying and I am not easily annoyed

 

I had a similar problem, but not exactly the same. Long story short, I followed advice from another thread, and it worked. Turn off your xbox, unplug it from the wall, wait like 30 seconds, and plug it back in. This apparently will make the xbox delete some
cache file for the game.

Curious if this will work for you guys or not.

 

... And I just realized Jaymo1978 already gave the same advice.

 

This doesn't work consistently. I have all power off every night and still happens throughout the day. The weird part is that it doesn't happen every time. Sometimes goes straight to being able to press the start button (where start button used to be)

 

Damn, same thing here. I think a patch is needed and not something that we the users can correct.

The same thing is happening to me. I contact MS support last night about it and they are aware of it and the person I talked with said they are currently working with Activision to remedy the problem. Ever since the update my game has been doing it to.
Sometimes, it loads fine, but not always.

 

Same problem...really annoying. I will try these tips, thanks guys.

 

Hopefully next week if the system update comes out it will make things a whole lot easier. I just read online that Xbox is doing a system update on I think the 11th of Feb.

i have the same thing happening to mine. i contacted activision about the issue an they said they are workin on the issue an hopefully they will have it fixed. the thing i found to work for now is not signing in as soon as you start your xbox one up. just
go ahead an start the game instead then sign in an you will be directed to the main menu as normal. it takes a little while but i guess it does that because its going around the problem instead.

 

It happened once or maybe twice for me. None the last few times Ive played.

 

Happened to me constantly. Saved and quit campaign. Held down the Power button for a reset. Powered back on. Booted the game. (I always have the "Resume games quickly (BETA)" setting turned off if that has anything to do with it.) Issue resolved since. Power
cycled the system with "Xbox turn off" and "Xbox on" commands, too.
