Ghosting/Coronas on XB1X & Samsung 2019 QLED TV's

I'm seeing bad ghosting/coronas/blur/duplicating images when playing games on my xbox one x with my brand new 2019 Samsung 55 inch Q70R TV. There are plenty of videos showing this issue on youtube if you need an example, I will link my video to show one
example of the issue.

Freesync "ultimate" definitely makes it worse from my experience/tests ("freesync basic" is always greyed out so I can't try this option). Even when I do not have freesync enabled though, the issue still occurs and it's very frustrating, I've used my xbox
one x with 3 tv's and this new qled is the only TV I have had any issues with (which makes me believe it is a problem with the TV and not the xbox, but Samsung are insisting that this issue is with xbox. What can i do to get rid of this issue and just play
games with a clear image please? I've noticed it in Pubg, modern warfare 2019, resident evil 2, The witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption etc... It has also happened when watching videos on my xbox's youtube/netflix apps too. I've reset the tv several times and tried
playing games with blur reduction settings on & off with no noticable improvement. Please help, I thought I was upgrading my setup when I moved to 4k not downgrading

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your 4K Samsung tv and ghosting. The only thing that comes to mind is checking what picture mode you have selected on your screen. You may have looked into this already, but if not, worth playing about with the different
picture modes that are available.

Game mode has been on every time I've had the issue and I've turned off all extra features other than local dimming because "low", "standard" or "high" are the only options.

I've used my xbox one x with 3 tv's and this new qled is the only TV I have had any issues with (which makes me believe it is a problem with the TV and not the xbox, but Samsung are insisting that this issue is with xbox. ...

If 3 other TVs don't show ghosting/coronas/blur etc... then it is most definitely the Samsung TV responsible for the ghosting.

Ghosting/coronas can't happen on the graphics chip (unless it's a lightning effect, the programmer actually intended to render, and then it'll show on all TVs). So if it only happens on the Samsung, then only the Samsung has the problem with ghosting.

Usually ghosting coronas and the likes happen when an overzealous image enhancement tries to make a natural image from a normal TV or movie camera "sharper". However, these algorithms fail when used on computer generated images, and produce "ringing" around
sharp edges that appear as coronas.

Try if your Samsung has a "Game Mode" to turn off all image enhancements.

Picture mode is "Game" As when I change to game mode, that is the only picture mode available, the input lag is too high when i don't use game mode, so I need to keep that setting on.

Hi xArkSlade08x, personnaly i'm looking for BF 2019 the Samsung QLED QE65Q70R. Middle range QLED from Samsung 2019. First Full LED, 100Hz
screen. Not too expensive. A good choice for me.
