Getting your app ready endless loop.

When launching ANY app on my Xbox series s, it says getting your app ready multiple times through continuous pop up’s then pops up saying something went wrong and starts the process all over again. It’s an endless loop and the only way to break out of it is to turn off the Xbox from the console.

I noticed there was a recent update a few days ago and I haven’t used the console since so it’s odd that this is happening the first time I use the console since the update.

The only way I can launch an app is if I remove and reinstall it. I’m not going to do that for every app!!

This is starting to happen to others as well as I f you search my title, Reddit comes up with people talking about this recently with specific apps. No other mention of this prior to about 35 days ago. This has to be a bug with the latest update. You will probably see more and more people report it.

I tried your method and it appears to work. Hopefully in the coming days the problem will not resurface

I uninstalled and reinstalled the apps it was doing it on and been fine since. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately Idk the answer to your problem but are your games not opening either? Or is it just like streaming apps like me? Because cod cold War opened fine. Its BBC iplayer and YouTube that I had the issues with.

Do you need this for all accounts? As I go online with my ex's live. But I can't exactly get him round here to log back in if I do this. The first suggestion did FA though, it's still doing the same thing so help!

Clear the console cache by holding the power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord for 1 minute and test if the problem happens again.

If the problem still persists follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.
In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>
Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***
