Getting way different images on same game using original 360 and 360 E

unfortunately that one is for the original xbox 360 which means it wont work on the xbox 360 E the xbox 360 E has different plugs on the back! Is there any other one that i might be able to get

I'm a techy - build gaming PC's - and using my tech knowledge, it sounds like the old 360 is throttling to keep the system stable, this why the 360 E model works better.

The E model and the S model have the CPU and GPU on the same chip which runs cooler than the original 360's. They also have a much better cooling solution altogether anyway.

Technically the S and E were better hardware than the original 360 machines but, to preserve full compatabilty, MS clocked them to the same performance as the original 360 hardware.

I'm not sure about performance increases, perhaps your old Xbox 360 is slowing down in it's old age?

From a purely technical point, The Xbox 360 S and E models are different inside compared to the original machines. The main difference is the CPU and GPU. On the original Xbox 360 and the post RROD consoles, the CPU and GPU have their own separate chips.
But the 360 S and the E do away with that and both are integrated into the same die to become an APU.

Now when I first read about this it was reported that technically the console was slightly faster with the new all-in-one APU, but to insure compatibility, the Xbox engineering team set its output to the same as the original 360 for 100% compatibility.

So I'm not sure why you would see better performance.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums and reaching out to us! As previously stated by the Ambassador's there's no real difference in the three Xbox 360 models as far as graphics are concerned. Each Xbox 360 model had slight cosmetic, and hardware differences.
Some noticeable differences, like I mentioned before, would be cosmetic. Such as, the original Xbox 360 was big and bulky. Way more so than it's successor's the Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 E. The hard drive for the original 360 was ranging from 20GB to 250GB.
The hard drive size for the Xbox 360 S or Slim went up to 320GB. There are going to be differences between the three consoles but, as mentioned before, not with the graphics.

If by system you mean, the Xbox One (original, S, X) and the Xbox 360. Then no, there is no difference as they both use the same Xbox Live Gold network, software and hardware, its just that those playing Xbox 360 games get matched with those playing Xbox
360 games, and those playing Xbox One games get matched with Xbox One games.
