    Getting the message "insert the first disc" on cyberpunk 2077 despite the fact it only uses...


    I put the disc in and get 2 errors, first "insert the first disc" (despite the fact it don't exist, even checked the game case to make sure i wasn't going crazy) and second "the person who bought this needs to sign in" despite the fact IM the person who bought it (physically), there's even a disc icon when the games on the dashboard so im confused??? ALSO its worth noting that this is ONLY happening with cyberpunk, no other disc game is doing this, put witcher 3 in and it started installing instantly so its not a disc drive issue and also the disc is as clean as could be. not a single scratch or spec of dust.

    any solutions?

    (on series x btw and i got the next gen update so its not running the xbox one version if that helps at all, also yes ive turn my console off and on, power cycled, unplugged the console for 2 hours ,removed and readded my account, everything but factory resetting which i really dont wanna do))

    Seems like you have indeed performed all the necessary steps, we may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

    thanks for the reply and as i said to sword i completely forgot there were 2 disks since i installed it day 1 and never uninstalled it, and i guess somewhere down the line i lost the install disk but didnt notice cause i was only using the play disk, luckily i got a friend i can borrow the install disk from tho

    thanks for the reply, i must have lost the first disc cause i got it day 1, completely forgot there were 2 disks since i never uninstalled it, luckily i got a friend i can borrow the install disk from

    Huh it's two disks like sword said I'm guessing you got a used copy?

    As mentioned by sword

    The one disk is drm which you pop in first

    Then put the install disk in after it confirms and to install the game

    Then use the game disk to play

    Disclaimer I own cyberpunk 2077 and it is 2 disks

    One labeled install

    One.is game.disk you need the game disk to download the smart delivery update to series x version but you still need to have the game installed
